This year we have seen a huge increase in fruit trees being affected by fireblight.
Fireblight is a bacterial infection that can ultimately spread and cause the death of the tree if not pruned out in the right season. If you are experiencing premature browning of leaves that do not fall off of the tree, then you most likely have fireblight. Fruit trees, whether they produce fruit or not, can only be trimmed in the winter months. Feel free to call us for a consultation so you don't miss the window of opportunity to prune and possibly save your tree.
